gggg is a collective of young architects who cook. They are exploring the structural conditions of space through consumable interventions. Their practice investigates how minimal architectural gestures can transform spaces like unbothered courtyards, wastelands, and vacant lots to create a moment of luxury. For the opening night of the Vienna architecture summer school, gggg conceived a welcoming buffet from a bygone era of promised pleasures in the spirit of the Viennese Jugendstil: Jugendlich, stilvoll, üppig: Seven courses, yours for the taking.
